Job summary:<\/strong><\/p>WASH project manager is in charge of water, sanitation, and hygiene projects, as well as climate change initiatives. Prepare, design, follow up on, and monitor the steps and cycle of the project. Create a strategic plan for the WASH program in collaboration with the line manager, and keep track of all documentation-related initiatives such as reports, budgeting, HR, and logs,……<\/p>

Roles & Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>- Manage the successful completion of assigned projects on a day-to-day basis to ensure the effective and accountable management of Amal projects.<\/li>
- Contribute to the development of proposals.<\/li>
- Set project plans (detailed implementation plan, procurement plan, human resource plan, spending plan\u2026etc.).<\/li>
- Ensuring effective implementation of projects that meet contractual obligations including all partner\/ donor policy, procedures, rules, and regulations.<\/li>
- Ensuring activities are in line with community and beneficiary needs.<\/li>
- Ensuring project activities are implemented to a high quality based upon related standards (e.g. Sphere, INEE, CHS, \u2026etc.).<\/li>
- Managing budgets and understanding financial reports.<\/li>
- Managing project team effectively.<\/li>
- Ensuring proper project documentation and compilation of project data.<\/li>
- Maintaining proper communication with the partner and donor and participating in fundraising activities.<\/li>
- Sharing information with donors, technical sector clusters, other NGOs, and coordination structures.<\/li>
- Ensure risks are appropriately managed, including financial, safety and security, programmatic and reputational.<\/li>
- Ensure all internal and external narrative and financial reports (weekly, monthly, interim and final) are submitted within agreed timeframes to the relevant stakeholders.<\/li>
- Coaching, mentoring, training, and development of project staff.<\/li>
- Coordinate closely with the programs manager on the project implementation progress.<\/li>
- Achieve stakeholder satisfaction, which leads to donor and beneficiary satisfaction.<\/li>
- Work closely with other departments on all issues related to assigned projects.<\/li><\/ul>

Job requirements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>- Languages: Good in English and Arabic (writing \u2013reading \u2013speaking) and Kurdish is a plus.<\/li>
- Computing: Proficient in Microsoft Office including, excel, word, outlook, etc.<\/li>
- Communication skills: negotiating, facilitating, and presenting as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>
- Time management, organization, and work prioritization.<\/li>
- Being analytical with strong attention to detail.<\/li>

Qualifications and education requirements:<\/strong><\/p>Preferred Bachelors’s or Master\u2019s degree in the same sector, humanitarian studies, or International Development. Significant relevant work experience in these specific areas will be considered as an added value.<\/p>
\u00a0<\/p>
General work experience:<\/strong><\/p>Minimum 3 years as a Project Manager\/ Coordinator with relevant expertise and understanding of the same sector.<\/p>
Has the flexibility to deal rapidly with numerous and often simultaneous problems in an effective manner.<\/p>
Remote management experience is preferred.<\/p>
